Canbet Launches Microgaming Online Casino

After a very successful run as an online poker room in the Microgaming Poker Network, CanBet.com has expanded its virtual doors into the online casino playing field. And who else to fulfill their needs as an online casino but none other than Microgaming? Well, that's precisely what has taken place now that a switch over to the Microgaming platform has been completed.

Although Canbet formerly offered online casino games through a Real Time Gaming software platform, the all-in-one betting site wanted to give their players a larger selection of games and so switched over to Microgaming, who certainly has one of the largest online casino game portfolios of any software developer. Furthermore, no other software provider continues to expand their game lineup greater and more frequently than Microgaming. Now with over 300 games available for online casino licensees, Microgaming remains one of the busiest gaming companies today.

In a recent press release, both companies expressed pleasure in having an opportunity to work together. For Microgaming, another online casino licensee will certainly help out their already giant progressive network of jackpot games, such as Mega Moolah, which has a starting jackpot of $1 million and is currently worth over $4 million. Microgaming's CEO, Roger Raagever, said Microgaming will continue to ensure Canbet's poker and casino platforms will compete at the highest level there is.

As for Canbet, they will be wielding their new online casino in untapped betting markets like China, where the company says they are hoping to gain an inroad in in the coming weeks. In the meantime, Canbet says they are confident Microgaming's online casino games will help them to further drive the growing gaming market in Europe, as well as Canada.
