Online
Casino Partnership: Blue Square + 888.com

Sometimes, online casinos join forces when they feel
that it is in their mutual best interests to pool
resources to better serve their loyal online gambling
customers. Partnerships along this vein have given rise
to some of the truly great internet casino destinations
on the web today. Likely hoping to create a new online
casino dynasty of their own, BlueSquare.com (the online
sports betting child-site of the Rank firm) and 888.com
have teamed up to form a partnership agreement.
With internet casino sports betting growing more popular
by the day, there has been an increasing demand on
online casinos not offering these services. 888 Holdings
was, until recently, among the online casino companies
that did not, as yet, manage a betting subsidiary –
hence the deal with Blue Square. Blue Square will
provide online gambling sports betting services on
behalf of 888, in exchange for the increased
international presence and assets that the other company
will bring to the table as part of the joint venture.
888 has managed to make quite a name for itself in the
international online casino community, and there can be
no doubt that Blue Square is looking forward to
additional name-recognition on a global level from the
deal. Like many companies that made the lion’s share of
their profits in the U.S., Blue Square lost a
significant stake when online gambling was illegalized
there.
The fruits of the online casino partnership marriage
will begin to be realized early next year, when the
merger will formally take place, and the new sports
betting service will go live on BlueSquare.com.
