We like to consider Online Casino Suite one such type of portal. We've seen a lot of portals out there, and while there are several good one's, we can think of a whole lot more biased, bad ones.
Admittedly, when one well known UK facing online casino portal, Casino.co.uk was bought out by Cryptologic Software, we thought the portal would certainly serve as a promotional platform for Cryptlogic casinos. Guess what? We were wrong. In fact, there are more Playtech online casinos promoted here than Cryptologic brands, albeit Cryptologic's top online casino, Inter Casino, is discreetly listed in the #1 position, not to mention the fact that these Playtech brands are likely paying a pretty penny for advertising spots.
In all fairness, we can't criticize, because 1) Inter Casino is indeed an excellent online casino (read our Inter Casino Review) and 2) All of Playtech's online casinos have closed their doors to the U.S. market. They derive much of their business from the UK and European online gambling scene, and certainly need to get their faces out there. Besides, Playtech is an excellent software platform as well (Read our Playtech Software Review).
The only reason I bring all this up in the first place is because Cryptologic recently announced their earn-out agreement to acquire the portal surpassed all expectations. As a result, Cryptologic will be investing further in the portal and plans to facilitate more growth and expansion. It shall be interesting to see where this leads as more money enters the picture.
