Leading online gaming software developer, Cryptologic, and leading Southeast Asian online casino and all-in-one betting site, Maharajah Club, have made a contractual agreement in which Cryptologic will provide a comprehensive online gaming software package to Maharajah Club beyond the year 2009.
According to the agreement, Cryptologic's subsidiary software developer, WagerLogic, will design and brand a custom online casino and poker room for Maharajah Club, beginning with a brand new poker site by this Summer. Later in the year, Maharajah Club will offer ten Cryptologic online casino games - the names of which were not released other than referring to them as Cryptologic's "top performing" casino games. Going into 2009, Cryptologic will license Maharajah Club their "fuller" gaming package, complete with a no-downloadable Flash casino and poker room.
The marriage between the two respective giants indeed sounds like a good one. Anyone familiar with Maharajah Club will likely agree a design makeover is in order. And with over 25,000 active online gamblers on the internet waves at Maharajah, Cryptologic's gaming package will certainly be accommodating. Cryptologic casinos have one of the best reputations in the business, and despite not being open to U.S. players, have managed to do quite well for themselves in other markets. Maharajah Club will now become another testament to this legacy.
Cryptologic VP of Product Management and Business Development, Justin Thouin, said in a joint press release that the partnership with Maharajah Club is the beginning of their commitment to expand their online casino and poker offering in Asia, as well a continuation of their presence in Europe. Maharajah Club CEO, Sachin Pawa said the partnership will allow the gaming company to sustain and broaden its appeal with Asian online gamblers.
