Cantor Gaming to Develop "Heavy Metal" Online Casino Slots

Following in the footsteps of Cryptologic, Cantor Gaming is the next online casino software developer to secure an exclusive licensing deal to theme video slots on comic book characters. As reported in a recent press release, Cantor Gaming has penned a deal with Heavy Metal - a popular, cult-classic, comic book magazine, to bring several (unnamed) characters from the magazine to the reels of the online gambling world.

Essentially using the same formula that Cryptologic used with Marvel Comics to create the enormously successful Marvel Superhero Slots series, which now includes games themed on The Incredible Hulk, Silver Surfer, Wolverine and Sub-Mariner to name a few, Cantor Gaming will now have the exclusive rights to theme a whole new series of comic book slots bound to become even more popular.

Continuing to expand their portfolio of online casino games, most people will agree that Cantor is taking the necessary steps to become a universally recognizable name in the world of gambling. Cantor's Managing Director, Manu Gambhir, said they have been eyeing the prospects of developing Heavy Metal into video slots for some time. And now that their design team has come up with a plan, Gambhir says the games will be Cantor Gaming's most edgy and highly animated games yet.

Owner of Heavy Metal and co-creator of the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", Kevin Eastman, said that in addition to the deal with Cantor Gaming, which he is hopeful will manifest into a "vibrant and original" brand of online casino video slots, said Heavy Metal will be turned into a movie at the helms of a major studio in 2010. No doubt this will help popularize the video slots even more and help Cantor Gaming continue its climb to become a leading software developer with the likes of Microgaming, Cryptologic and Playtech.

Cantor Gaming runs the online casino CantorCasino.com, which despite not being open to U.S. players, has done quite well for itself in Europe. Cantor's latest innovations include StatJack and Cantor Financial Odds.
