One of the foremost
online gaming publication and events specialist, Clarion
Gaming, is moving things around in its U.S. branch.
Several management positions, including that of longtime
CEO, Sue Schneider, are being filled with new faces
following the sale of River City Group to Clarion Events
two years ago.
Schneider, who
contractually agreed to step down from her post, will
stick around to advise Clarion as needed, and will
likely continue to remain a popular face and name in the
online gambling industry. Schneider's replacement will
be Peter Rusbridge, who said that several new changes
will be taking place at the company's headquarters in
St. Louis, Missouri.
With operations now
firmly planted in London, Asia and America, Clarion
Gaming will no doubt continue to expand its publication
and event services for the worldwide gaming industry,
including new features in the Digital Publications
department - now being headed by Mark Balestra. iGaming
News, Internet Gambling Report (print) and Gaming
Industry Media will soon be offering more features to
their online subscriptions, in addition to new
publication titles altogether.
Other internal
staff changes include the appointment of another staff
writer, Jeanette Kozlowski, who will be joining the well
versed Emily Swoboda, the appointment of Chris Krafcik
as Chief Editor of iGamingNews, the appointment of Holly
Rauch to the sales team for Clarion's digital
publications division, the promotion of Dawn Kirkwood as
Head of Conferences for the America's (along with
Marketing Coordinator Karen Thompson and Operations
Coordinator Dan Fitzgerald), and the appointment of
Nancy Krause as Head of Sales for Clarion Gaming Events
(joined by Tony Boschert).
To say that Clarion
Gaming is moving things around would be an
understatement. The new appointments only make sense
considering how far reaching their operations are. In
addition to the aforementioned online and print
publications, Clarion Gaming hosts some of the largest
exhibitions and conferences in the gaming industry,
including the International Casino Exhibition (ICE) in
London, World Poker Congress an iGaming In-Depth.
