Fone Mobile Casino Review

Friday, November 1st, 2013

The latest OCS approved online casino to launch from Taj Asia Enterprises N.V. (Louts Asia CasinoBlack Lotus Casino), and part of the Lotus Players Club program, is Fone Casino. Launched in late 2013, Fone Casino is entirely committed to the mobile sector of the online gambling industry. Self described as a “Play Any Time Any Where” casino; this mobile platform comes with all the licensed and legal stability you count on from Taj Asia’s solid reputation. Fone Casino operates under the strict guidelines set forth by the Government of Curacao, Netherlands Antilles. Think of Fone Casino simply as the mobile version of Lotus Asia Casino and/or Black Lotus Casino. These casinos are all US player friendly. Note: We’ve provided hard-to-find codes within the Bonuses and Promotions section just below.

Safety, Security and Responsibility

Fone Casino utilizes the highest standard of encryption to ensure that all player and gaming and account details are completely protected to the highest level available when performing transactions online. At Fone Casino, all credit card and other financial transactions are safe and secure using 128-bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption. As you probably know and expect, SSL provides security and data reliability for all communications over networks such as online financial transactions. Fone Casino boasts the seal of “Norton Secured” by VeriSign.

Upholding a stellar gaming reputation online also requires fair gaming for all. All games of chance at Fone Casino are based on a Random Number Generator (RNG), which uses widely recognized algorithms to generate random numbers. This practice is guaranteed through leading third party verification certification via iTechLabs Australia.

Like Lotus Asia Casino and Black Lotus Casino, Fone casino uses BetOnSoft gaming software, which enables easy, fast, secure and hassle-free downloading of the gaming software. At Fone Casino, players can use customer services that permit one to review and examine previous hands/spins to see historical performance results. Another feature at Fone Casino is its Cashier Statement system that allows players to review any or all of one’s financial transactions (deposits and withdrawals) through the casino banking system.

Fone Casino completely supports responsible gaming. Above and beyond typical concerns within the gambling community on the Web, Fone Casino regularly updates its players about the harmful effects of excessive and underage gaming. Players may be required to email proof of their age as and when requested.

Bonuses and Promotions

As you will find at Lotus Asia and Black Lotus Casino, Fone Casino also provides you with a 100% match welcome bonus up to $1000. At Fone Casino, you’ll need to use the code: Fone1000 for the bonus to activate at deposit time. There is a small minimum deposit required of $20 for most all promos and bonuses. If not, the minimum deposit here only climbs to about $25; typically this happens with the “free spin” offers.

Players also have access to most other Lotus Players Club promotions and bonuses when playing at this mobile casino. Whacky Wednesday is provided to all players, rewarding them with a 100% match with their first deposit every Wednesday up to $500. Use Bonus Code Fone500 for this offer.

When playing at Fone Casino using the Lotus Players Club benefits, this 4-tiered rewards program gives you access to perks such as match bonuses, free spins, no deposit bonuses, lucky draws latest casino bonuses, birthday gifts, anniversary offers, event tournaments, various player competitions, and prizes like jewelry, electronics and even amazing vacations. The Lotus Players Club is divided into four loyalty tiers of “White Lotus,” “Blue Lotus,” “Pink Lotus,” and “Black Lotus.” You’ll earn more loyalty points whether you are playing at Lotus Asia Casino, Black Lotus Casino, and of course, Fone Casino. Your status climbs as you play more. While we’ve witnessed lower wagering requirements and playthrough requirements, many of this casino’s promos and bonuses come with a 45x wagering requirement, which is not the highest we’ve seen. All online casinos have stipulations in place that require you to wager a certain amount of money when using bonuses and promotional money rewards before you are able to withdrawal those monies.

Mobile Games Selection

For a mobile casino, Fone Casino provides quite a large selection of casino games. You’ll have access to BetOnSoft software mobile game versions, including classic slots, video slots, various table games, video poker, and other specialty games. We noticed that among the most popular slots you can play on your mobile device (Apple iPhone, Apple iPad, iOS devices, Android, Tablets and other mobiles) are the new Yeti Hunt i3D Slots, Cash Flow, Max Cash, Buckin’ Broncos, among many others.

Banking

Several US player friendly banking options are in place at Fone Casino. This mobile casino also shares most of the provisions you’ll find at sister casinos Lotus Asia and Black Lotus. You can deposit to your Fone Casino account using the following methods: Credit Cards, Neteller, iDeal, Skrill (Moneybookers), GiroPay and others. All Taj Asia casinos are known for fast payouts and excellent customer service when needed.

Customer Support

Rest assured that no matter what time of day, you’ll have access to live or personal help via several types of outlets such as toll-free phone, live chat 24/7, email, or even through Lotus Players Club outlets. Any casino worth your business will be there 24/7 and Fone Casino is no exception to this philosophy.

Lastly, while this is a new casino (launched 2013), Fone Casino is firmly planted within the Taj Asia Enterprises N.V. group, providing players with a complete set of entertaining casino games, backed by a reputation for providing the industry with accountability. We highly recommend this new mobile casino and will continue to update its status as a top casino within our recommended casinos regularly.

Giving Mobile Gaming a Go: Best Mobile Online Casino Options

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010
Sorry U.S. Players. American Somoa is as close to the best mobile online casinos as you're gonna get!

Sorry U.S. Players. American Somoa is as close to the best mobile online casinos as you're gonna get!

Anyone with an iPhone – or any smart phone for that matter – who likes to get their bets on, should seriously consider giving mobile online gambling a go. Now, before all you hotheads start diving into the water, you’re going to need to do some research first, i.e., which online casinos offer a mobile compatible version of their software in the first place. Then, you’ll have to determine which of these casinos are open to players in your country, and THEN, go with the site that best caters to your needs, i.e., bonuses, accepted deposit methods etc.

For all you U.S. players out there, I hate to be the one to break it to you, but there simply are not many mobile online casinos for you to sign up with. In fact, I don’t think there are any – at least none that I know of and would trust wagering at. There could be some out there, so please do post a comment on this post enlightening myself and other readers of such hidden treasures.

Now, for most players elsewhere in the world, your mobile online gaming options are full of possibilities! To simplify things, your best bet is going to Microgaming and Playtech powered online casinos. Now, of course, many powerhouse betting destinations offer games from a variety of software providers, which in that case, you are even more likely to have at least one version of a mobile-compatible betting platform.

In regards to Microgaming, the name you need to look out for is Spin3. In partnership with Microgaming, Spin3 offers one of the most innovative and comprehensive packages of mobile online casino games out there. The graphics are true to Microgaming’s form, and the security is better than Riker’s Island. Roulette, Baccarat, Jacks or Better Video Poker, Keno Scratch Cards and 10 different slots (including progressive monsters like Major Millions, which offers a base jackpot of 250,000), are available for individual download on just about every make and model cell phone in existence.

eCOGRA approved, 32Red – which is our top pick for a Microgaming powered mobile online casino – let’s you check on their website to see if your phone is compatible or not. If it is (and I pretty much can guarantee you it will be), all you have to do is enter your country of residence, mobile number, the casino game you would like to play, and a security code (to verify that you are a human being…with feelings, mind you), and you will then be sent an SMS (text message) with a download link.

As for Playtech, they too offer a solid mobile online casino package. Granted, not every Playtech licensee offers mobile games, but of those that do, there are some top-of-the-line sites to choose from. OCS top picks are Casino Tropez (where currently, players can receive a bonus on every deposit this month) and Will Hill (get a £10 no-deposit bonus just for playing their mobile games). Again, simply enter your details, choose a game to play and wait for a text message to download.

At Will Hill, you can even “scan and play” for instant access. If your phone has a bar code scanner, simply scan the bar code on the computer screen and that’s it. As easy as this is for YOU to gamble online, just be sure you keep stuff like this away from your kids. On that note, think twice before you even allow your teenager to have a mobile phone. They’re gonna be all wired up soon enough in their adult years, so why the rush? And on that note, that’s all I got. Till next time!

Apple Approved Apps Coming Soon to an Online Casino Near You

The race for online betting App’s is on! Following William Hill’s recent announcement the online casino operator had submitted an application to Apple for a downloadable app that would allow user’s to make real money wagers on Will Hill’s online sportsbook, three more rival internet betting operators – Bwin, Ladbrokes and Paddy Power – have announced their intent to do the same.

William Hill‘s app is called the “World Cup Predictor”, and apparently gives up-to-the-minute odds on matches, as well as the ability to log into one’s account to post live wagers. The details of Ladbrokes’ app has not been revealed as of yet, but considering the company is planning to get an approval before the World Cup – beginning on June 11th – there’s a good chance it is similar to Will Hill’s World Cup Predictor app.

Ladbrokes’ John O’Reilly says that while their mobile online casino betting suite is compatible with iPhone’s (as is Will Hill’s), launching an iPhone app is a whole new ballgame. ” It’s one thing having a web application, another thing having one through the iPhone Store – it has a different functionality”, said O’Reilly.

As for Bwin and Paddy Power, they aren’t in a total rush to get their iPhone app’s approved. Bwin’s Tomer Katz said his company is hoping to launch their app soon after the World Cup (pending an approval from Apple), while Paddy Power’s Darren Lovern said they are thinking about launching an app (ideally before the World Cup), but are weary of potential problems getting their application approved by Apple.

These concerns certainly aren’t without merit, albeit Apple did reverse their stance on gambling apps – having initially rejected apps submitted by Betfair and Tabcorp, only to later approve both applications. The main concern on Apple’s part, it would seem, pertains to children. One of Apple’s criteria for approving app’s is that it isn’t inappropriate content for children. Well, considering there are plenty of apps that are essentially pornography, Apple apparently has a standard by which to keep tabs on the more adult stuff.

Other criteria Apple looks for when reviewing app’s is whether or not the app crashes frequently (obviously), if it has buggy software in general, if there are unauthorized API’s being used, privacy violations and (get ready, this is the big one), whether or not the app “degrades the core experience of the iPhone”. As revealed by Apple recently, there is a forty person team reviewing some 8,500 new apps and updates to existing ones each week. Eighty percent of app’s are approved without changes needed, while 95% of all applications are approved within a two week time period.

In short, the likes of Bwin, Ladbrokes and Paddy Power need not worry about their app getting denied by Apple. All you supped up online gamblers be on the lookout. There’s bound to be an app coming out soon from your favorite online casino.

Microgaming Powered Spin3 Launches Avalon for Mobile Online Casino Platform

Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010

If you’re a smart phone owner and still haven’t given mobile online casino gaming a go, now is as good a time as any. Heck, you can even give mobile gaming a go on your outdated cell phone – although I have to say that the smart phone experience is light year’s ahead. Granted, the mobile gaming experience also depends on the actual mobile platform downloaded to your cell phone.

Platforms, like that of Microgaming partner, Spin3, are certainly the best of the best when it comes to mobile online casino gaming. Being powered by Microgaming, not only does Spin3 provide cutting edge graphics and gaming innovation, their portfolio of mobile-compatible casino games is probably the largest there is. In terms of compatibility, Spin3 currently supports over 2,000 handsets via the GameWire Java platform.

Spin3’s latest addition to its family of nearly twenty Java-based mobile games is “Avalon” – Microgaming’s popular bonus video slot themed on the classic tale and legend of King Arthur. Offering a scatter symbol that awards up to twelve free spins and a chance at earning 7x winnings on original stakes, it’s not difficult to see why Avalon has become one of Microgaming’s more popular slots. Just the fact that Spin3 is adapting Avalon into a mobile online casino game is a testament to the games enormous success.

In a recent press release, Spin3 CEO, Matti Zinder, said the company is delighted to include Avalon in it’s portfolio. According to Zinder, “In the last year we have made great advances in developing web applications for smartphones with advanced web browsers like the iPhone and the Android. At the same time, our GameWire Java platform remains a fundamental part of our business. Java games enable us to support as broad a range of handsets and as many customers as possible, which is great news for our clients.  Mobile penetration is high (in Eastern Europe), but people are not necessarily using the latest handsets. It is important that Spin3 is offering a dynamic portfolio of games that are appealing and, more importantly, available to the region so that we can support our clients who are looking to expand in these new markets.”

To test our Spin3’s mobile online casino platform for yourself, OCS highly recommends the mobile package offered through All Slots Casino. It’s one of few online casinos with an eCOGRA audited mobile platform, publishing monthly payout percentage reports (currently averaging over a 96% return). Sorry US players, All Slots is bound by Microgaming’s non-US stance. Read the All Slots Casino Review for more information.

Weekend Online Casino Jackpot Update: Mobile Jackpots and Rival Gaming Pay Big

Sunday, December 20th, 2009
Mobile online gambling at eCOGRA approved All Slots Casino

Mobile online gambling at eCOGRA approved All Slots Casino

This weekend was a good one for jackpot wins, albeit there are no millionaires to report. 🙁 Most promising was a series of big wins scored on mobile devices. Another testament to the growing popularity of mobile online casino gambling, this particular jackpot was worth $10,225, and hit on the Tomb Raider video slot, which is extremely popular with both mobile gamers and regular online casino players.

According to the Jackpot Factory’s, Microgaming-powered All Slots Casino, a mobile player from South Africa using the screen name Karin D. hit the big win using a Nokia mobile device after only one month of opening an account. That’s definitely what you call “good luck”, and goes to show that winning in the online casino can happen to anyone….even on a mobile phone.

If you are interested in giving mobile online gambling a go, it truly is as simple as pie. Go to the “Getting Started” page at All Slots, choose your type of phone (over 1,400 compatible devices, including iPhone, iTouch and Android), enter your phone number and wait for the download package to be sent via secure SMS text. After opening an account through the software platform, individual casino games can be downloaded at the “tap of a touchscreen”, including several slots, progressive jackpot games and table games like Blackjack and Roulette. And don’t forge to take advantage of All Slots 100% Match Bonus up to $200 Free for mobile players. Keep in mind, I am specifically referring to All Slots Casino and Microgaming mobile online casinos in general, which are not open to U.S. residents.

But don’t let that get you down all my U.S. friends. Even despite attempts by the U.S. government to block U.S. players from online casinos, “good luck” also frequently happens for U.S. residents in the online gambling world! Case in point was this very weekend, in which a yet-to-be identified player scored a $86,006 jackpot playing at the Rival Gaming network of U.S. facing online casinos. The game responsible for dishing out the $86K jackpot was the “Money Magic” progressive video slot, having finally stolen some thunder from Rival Gaming’s “Major Moolah” slot, which has been one of the hottest slots of late.

Currently, the cumulative progressive jackpot total at Rival Gaming Casinos is worth over $26,000, with “Strike it Gold” now worth over $11,000 and the exciting I-slot, “1 Million Reels BC” now nearing the $8,000 mark. Having busted recently, both “Major Moolah” and “Money Magic” are under $4,000 each. For a real-time feed of jackpot tally’s check out Superior Casino. They get our topmost recommendation for Rival progressive jackpot action, notwithstanding the fact that they are one of the only licensees with a real time feed! :).

Don’t forget to take advantage of a free no-deposit bonus worth $20 (maximum cashout of $50), or $1,900 in three free slots bonuses and $1,000 in three free casino game bonuses. PLEAS NOTE, however, that all sign-up bonuses at Superior Casino have a maximum withdrawal of $50. If you don’t want to be kept taking home a big jackpot win early on before meeting the play-through requirement, DO NOT claim this bonus.
