New Millionaire at All Jackpots Online Casino: Largest Jackpot to Date

Play Roulette Royale at All Jackpots Casino

Play Roulette Royale at All Jackpots Casino

It’s always refreshing to hear when another online gambler becomes a millionaire at an online. Even more refreshing is when the vehicle for doing so is something other than a progressive jackpot slot machine. I mean, let’s face it, the largest jackpots to be found at casinos (both online and in the brick ‘n mortar world) are at the slots.

Although not as generally large as slots, poker game progressive jackpots (like Caribbean Stud) offer a good chance to win big by simply making an ante bet. But with slots, the risk and cost to play is greater. Considering the Casinos edge is higher – as is the cost of making a max wager on all paylines so as to be eligible for the top jackpot – the rewards for getting extremely lucky on a progressive video slot, are often that much greater.

There are other progressive jackpot online casino games as well. Take Microgaming Software’s Roulette Royale, for example, which incidentally awarded a massive $1.33 million jackpot to a lucky player in Greece. That’s right, your eyes are not deceiving you – I said $1.33 million indeed. So, after all is said and done, I guess there really are other progressive jackpot games other than slots that dish out winnings as large as the best progressive wide area slot machine jackpots online.

When you have a network of online casinos as large as Microgaming’s diverse licensees, it makes sense that a progressive jackpot for the game of Roulette could get this huge. Furthermore, since Microgaming largely does business in Europe – where Roulette is very popular (much more so than in the US), the possibility of generating million-plus jackpots at Roulette is a likely reality.

Fittingly enough, the winner of the $1.33 million Roulette Royale jackpot was a member of All Jackpots Casino (only eleven days since opening his account). This eCOGRA certified online casino is a flagship site in the esteemed Jackpot Factory (which also includes the popular All Slots Casino). While no stranger to big wins, All Jackpots Casino has reached a milestone with this newsworthy win. It is the largest jackpot to date ever won at Jackpot Factory. All Slots Online Casino Dishes Out $25,000 Jackpot Win to Canadian Player

Thursday, June 24th, 2010

eCOGRA certified All Slots online casino is no stranger to huge jackpot wins. A member of the long-standing Jackpot Factory group of online casinos, Microgaming-powered All Slots is synced with one of the largest wide area progressive jackpot networks on the internet.

How large, you ask? Well, let’s just say that the Jackpot Factory has paid out over $4 billion in payouts since 2000. As for the current progressive jackpot tally at the time of publication, it was worth $6,244,388 – and that’s minus the recent $25,000 jackpot dished out to a Canadian player spinning the reels on the popular “Totem Treasure” video slot.

More precisely, the big winner goes by the screen name of Lynn R., and hails from British Columbia, Canada. A member of All Slots since the very beginning of the Jackpot Factory empire (nearly ten years ago), Lynn R. is what we in the online gambling industry like to call a loyal player. In fact, the Jackpot Factory’s Director of Player Affairs, David Brickman, said, “She’s (Lynn) been a loyal player for a long time, and it’s always exciting to see persistency pay off.”

Indeed, persistency certainly does pay off. Of course, nobody knows for sure exactly how much Lynn R. has wagered over the years (let alone how much she’s lost and won), but it’s probably safe to say that she has at least broken even. If not, perhaps it’s time to take the money and run Lynn! From a player’s perspective, one can only be so loyal, can they not?

One last thing worth mentioning about All Slots online casino is that in addition to being a haven for big jackpot wins, they are also known for churning out frequent winners. I mean, what other online casinos actually have a “Winners” page linked up through the main navigation menu on their website. Check out AllSlots.com to see for yourself. And – assuming you do not reside in the U.S. – be sure to look into opening a free account and taking advantage of their $5,000 Welcome Bonus package (100% up to $200 Free on the first deposit).

The First Online Casino: Who, What, When, Where, and Most Importantly, Why?

Monday, January 18th, 2010
portrait of old man

Is being the first and oldest all that it's cracked up to be?

Here’s a history lesson for you:

I remember back at the turn of the Century (Oh Lord, I say that way too much…and yes, I’m getting way too old), when it was a big deal to be the “first online casino”. You know, being the first online casino to go live on the Web, and thus earning the connotation that “first” equates to being ahead of the pack? Obviously, this is true to a certain extent. I mean, with age also comes a certain amount of respect, should it not?

In this business, it is hard to stay in business if you’re cheating players. Indeed, it does happen. Some of the smallest trees in the online gambling industry cast the deepest shade, if you know what I mean. Information travels fast online, and when enough players get swindled and enough blacklists get published, rogue online casinos have no choice but to shut down. The only problem is that they often rebrand themselves only to begin the process all over again :(. For those online casinos that have endured the test of time without going rogue, however, respect is earned and respect is given.

So the question remains, does first necessarily mean better, or even, best? And, who was the first online casino anyways?

Surprisingly, verifying who was actually the “first”, and consequently, the oldest online casino, poses more difficulty than gauging the benefits of being first. You see, the title of “first” is highly contested, and everybody wants to be first for bragging rights and the prestige and reputation that comes from the title. Of course, for the online casino that is no longer in business, the title of first absolutely doesn’t mean a thing. Nor does it mean a thing when the title has been self-endowed – and there are plenty of online casinos self-endowing themselves with the title of first or best or largest etc.

What does mean a thing and is actually more important than being the first online casino, in my opinion, is the history of the operator. For example, these days, the best online casinos are usually apart of a network of sites, often growing in sync with the successes of the network itself. The longer a network has stayed in business, without having earned a tarnished reputation mind you, the more trustworthy and dependable it’s casino’s ought to be.

So, instead of trying to pin who was the actual first online casino, which really could be any number of sites launched in the mid-nineties (Inter Casino, First Web Casino, Lasseters etc.), pay mind to who are the more established online casino networks. A good place to get started would be the English Harbour Gaming Ventures (EHGV) Network (for U.S. players) and the Jackpot Factory (for UK and Euro players). EHGV has been in business since 1997/98 and indeed launched one of the first online casinos – flagship property, English Harbour Casino. EHGV now operates a medium sized network of eight thriving online casinos, including OCS favorites, Super Slots and Millionaire Casino.

As for the Jackpot Factory, they have been in business since the mid-nineties, launching what could actually be the first online casino. Are you ready for it? You’ll never guess the name. First Web Casino. The Jackpot Factory now maintains a network of seven online casinos, including OCS top picks, All Slots Casino and All Jackpots Casino.

What is most important about EHGV and the Jackpot Factory is that they have been in business for many years, all the while earning a solid reputation and continually expanding their reach on the internet. That is the value of history, people! It should stand for something, and in my opinion, carries much more weight than simply launching the first online casino. Don’t be fooled by titles. Learn your history!

Jackpot Factory Casinos See Treasure Nile and Mega Moolah Paying Big

Monday, January 4th, 2010
Jackot Factory Casinos

Big Slots Jackpots as usual at Jackpot Factory Casinos

For the Jackpot Factory group of online casinos, big jackpots are not uncommon. Yes, smarty pants, that’s why they call themselves the Jackpot Factory. Another reason why the Jackpot Factory focuses on the….well, jackpots…is simply because of their relationship with Microgaming Software and Microgaming’s vast progressive jackpot network.

Before I go on further, if you are from the United States and are wondering if the Jackpot Factory is right for you, save yourself some breath and energy and don’t bother. Jackpot Factory, and ALL Microgaming online casino licensees for that matter, are not open to U.S. citizens. Call it unfair. I call it bad governing courtesy of the Bush administration.

Anyhow, enough of that. You can bet that just as soon as the U.S. starts regulating online gambling, the Jackpot Factory will open it’s doors across the pond once again. So, make a mental note.

Now, where was I? Oh yes, big jackpots at the Jackpot Factory. In particular, it’s been the Mega Moolah and Treasure Nile video slots that have paid out the most considerable sums over the last week or so. Mega Moolah, alone, paid out nine large jackpot wins over the month of December at Jackpot Factory’s All Slots Casino, including a $10,00+ win on Christmas day for one lucky player. Mega Moolah, which has the potential to grow in the millions (having almost reached £5 million at one time), also dished out a rather large $70,000 jackpot to one player.

As for Treasure Nile, this is one slot machine that consistently pays out huge numbers, and is one of Microgaming’s oldest progressive jackpot slot games. It’s most recent newsworthy action generated over $179,000 in winnings for two players. One player walked away with over $66,000, while the other scored a massive $112,674 jackpot on Treasure Nile.

To see the current jackpot tally at the Jackpot Factory (currently worth over $3.3 million), go to AllJackpots.com and click the Live Jackpots tab on the homepage.

Weekend Online Casino Jackpot Update: Mobile Jackpots and Rival Gaming Pay Big

Sunday, December 20th, 2009
Mobile online gambling at eCOGRA approved All Slots Casino

Mobile online gambling at eCOGRA approved All Slots Casino

This weekend was a good one for jackpot wins, albeit there are no millionaires to report. 🙁 Most promising was a series of big wins scored on mobile devices. Another testament to the growing popularity of mobile online casino gambling, this particular jackpot was worth $10,225, and hit on the Tomb Raider video slot, which is extremely popular with both mobile gamers and regular online casino players.

According to the Jackpot Factory’s, Microgaming-powered All Slots Casino, a mobile player from South Africa using the screen name Karin D. hit the big win using a Nokia mobile device after only one month of opening an account. That’s definitely what you call “good luck”, and goes to show that winning in the online casino can happen to anyone….even on a mobile phone.

If you are interested in giving mobile online gambling a go, it truly is as simple as pie. Go to the “Getting Started” page at All Slots, choose your type of phone (over 1,400 compatible devices, including iPhone, iTouch and Android), enter your phone number and wait for the download package to be sent via secure SMS text. After opening an account through the software platform, individual casino games can be downloaded at the “tap of a touchscreen”, including several slots, progressive jackpot games and table games like Blackjack and Roulette. And don’t forge to take advantage of All Slots 100% Match Bonus up to $200 Free for mobile players. Keep in mind, I am specifically referring to All Slots Casino and Microgaming mobile online casinos in general, which are not open to U.S. residents.

Play Rival Gaming's Money Magic at Superior Casino

Play Rival Gaming's Money Magic at Superior Casino

But don’t let that get you down all my U.S. friends. Even despite attempts by the U.S. government to block U.S. players from online casinos, “good luck” also frequently happens for U.S. residents in the online gambling world! Case in point was this very weekend, in which a yet-to-be identified player scored a $86,006 jackpot playing at the Rival Gaming network of U.S. facing online casinos. The game responsible for dishing out the $86K jackpot was the “Money Magic” progressive video slot, having finally stolen some thunder from Rival Gaming’s “Major Moolah” slot, which has been one of the hottest slots of late.

Currently, the cumulative progressive jackpot total at Rival Gaming Casinos is worth over $26,000, with “Strike it Gold” now worth over $11,000 and the exciting I-slot, “1 Million Reels BC” now nearing the $8,000 mark. Having busted recently, both “Major Moolah” and “Money Magic” are under $4,000 each. For a real-time feed of jackpot tally’s check out Superior Casino. They get our topmost recommendation for Rival progressive jackpot action, notwithstanding the fact that they are one of the only licensees with a real time feed! :).

Don’t forget to take advantage of a free no-deposit bonus worth $20 (maximum cashout of $50), or $1,900 in three free slots bonuses and $1,000 in three free casino game bonuses. PLEAS NOTE, however, that all sign-up bonuses at Superior Casino have a maximum withdrawal of $50. If you don’t want to be kept taking home a big jackpot win early on before meeting the play-through requirement, DO NOT claim this bonus.
