Play Rival Gaming’s Latest Release of 3D Slot Machines at SlotoCash Casino

4 February 2011 by Devon Chappell

Following our previous article on the entertainment factor of online slot machines and a review of Rival Gaming’s 3D slots, let’s take a closer look at Rival’s latest release of 3D Slots. Here’s a teaser trailer for “French Cuisine” to get you in the mood 🙂

Play French Cuisine 3D Slot at SlotoCash Casino

French Cuisine

A spin on the classic Pixar animated feature movie, Ratatouille, “French Cuisine” incorporates a hilarious storyline involving a pack of mischievous and entertaining mice and the hilarious French chef who wants them dead. For anyone who has actually had a mice problem before will be able to empathize with the chef, and in “French Cuisine” it’s better that you distance yourself from the mice as well. The reason being is that a bonus round (triggered by three scatter symbols) pays off larger when you (luckily) pick the covered platter that does not have any mice hiding underneath! One of the funnier bonus rounds of Rival’s 3D slots, French Cuisine also has an expanding wild animation that reveals the “three little mice” getting into a pot of soup. Like all of Rival’s 3D slots, French Cuisine is five reels and twenty paylines large, with a coin denomination ranging from one penny to five dollars, and a max of five coins per line.

Dog Casher

If you love dog’s, “Dog Casher” is for you. A tale something like that of “Lady and the Tramp”, you may find yourself rooting more for the dogs than your own wager! 5 reel and 20 paylines, Dog Casher two bonus games – a Click Me bonus and a Free Spins Bonus. The expanding wild for Dog Casher is the gruff Dog Chaser, while the Truck and Key symbols serve as scatters. Three truck symbols (on reels 2, 3 and 4) trigger the Click Me bonus round, in which multiple dog catcher trucks are selected to reveal a bonus award. Getting three Key symbols on the reels earns 1 Master Key that is shown above the game. When three Master Keys are earned, the 30 free spins bonus round is triggered with up to 300 coins when 3 or more scatters are hit on a bonus spin, and the chance at winning up to 15 free additional spins when 3 or more White Dog symbols appear.

If you haven’t heard of Shangri-La, let’s just say it’s way more than a slot machine. Don’t get me wrong. Rival’s Shangri-La 3D slot is something else (as you’ll soon see), but the “real” Shangri-La is where I want to be. According to legend, Shangri-La is a mythical Himalayan utopia – an earthly paradise somewhere between Northern India and Tibet where the residents age slowly and are said to be immortal. If you ask me, I think it’s the Sea Buckthorn berry (look it up), but I digress. The Shangri-La slot offers 20 paylines of action on five reels, and does a fantastic job invoking the exoticism of the Orient. Some of the symbols you’ll come to know are the Wild Koi (serving as an expanding wild), the Blooming Cherry Tree, Buddha (both of which serve as scatter symbols), the red-faced money, scroll, Monk, urn and gong. The Koi Wild will expand to replace symbols on engaged paylines except for scatter symbols. As an extra bonus, if no winning combination is earned with a Wild Koi, you will earn a Koi. After earning five Koi’s, a bonus game is engaged in which all symbols on every reel except the third are turned into Click Me symbols. Another Click Me bonus round is engaged with three or more Blooming Cherry Tree’s. As for the Buddha, three of him will engage a free spins feature with a payout multiplier.

The McMurphy’s

Considering all of the movie spinoffs that seem to characterize all of Rival Gaming’s 3D slots, I’m not quite so sure which movie compares to The McMurphy’s, but I guess the Griswold’s “Vacation” movies or “The Simpson’s” suffice. It’s interesting, because the blonde little boy named “Bart” is the expanding wild, while the bonus symbols show the McMurphy’s on vacation. All in all, The McMurphy’s is very entertaining, bringing to life each family member in a funny way: There’s a whole slew of characters, including Granpage George, Uncle Bob, the parents, kids and their adorable pet dog, Muffles. Win up to 37,500 coins with all sorts of opportunity for free spins. The McMurphy’s Bonus symbol is what triggers the free spins bonus (three or more), and will award from 3 to 9 spins initially. More free spins can be retriggered by hitting the “Extra Bonus” drop scatter symbol. 3 drop scatters will award 3 additional free spins, 4 will award 6 free spins, and 5 “Extra Bonus” drop scatters will award 9 additional spins. Three pther additional scatter symbols will become available during the bonus round, including Bary with Lady Liberty (3x to 75x multiplier), the Uncle Bob Scatter (2x to 50x multiplier) and the Julie Scatter (up to 25x multiplier on the line bet).

If you haven’t given any of these online slot machines a spin yet, you are missing out.  Even the fun-money mode is worth the entertainment factor. OCS recommends SlotoCash Casino for opening a free account. For reviews on Rival Gaming’s debut 3D Slots – Dr. Magoo’s Adventure and Crazy Jewelry – Click Here.
