Full Tilt’s Hearing Pushed Back

27 July 2011 by admin

As previously discussed here at onlinecasinosuite.com, the Full Tilt hearing was to have happened yesterday in London. The hearing was to decide whether or not to remove the suspension on its online gambling operation license. But now being given a reprieve on its hearing until the 15th of September.

The reason for the reprieve came from Commissioner Isabel Picornel: “The decision was not taken lightly. The decision was taken in the best interests of Full Tilt’s customers and to allow Full Tilt Poker to further resume negotiations with potential investors. This would lead to a more beneficial outcome for the players’ interests. We will reconvene as soon as possible and no later than 15 September this year.”

It is possible that Full Tilt could be sold to new investors, who could then take the online casino and poker site into a new direction which would then benefit the players of Full Tilt. It is also believed that it would be more likely for the suspension by the Alderney Gaming Control Commission to be lifted if the online poker site were under new management.

The new deadline of September 15th would give the current owners of the site more time to try to finalize a sale with potential investors who are looking to snap up a casino online. By taking the site in a new, more positive direction it could be possible to not only refund the current players their money, but to also reinvent the online poker site’s image and turn it around as a business, even bring it back to its former position in the online casino industry.

Here is to hoping that Full Tilt will be able to finalize a deal with investors before the 15th of September so that it can have its license returned and begin rebuilding is reputation.
