| "Online
Ace" by Scott Fischman |
Maybe you already know how to play poker but have
never done so on the internet? And maybe you are curious
to find out what this thing called the "poker boom" is
all about? Well, even if you already play poker on the
Web, "Online Ace" by Scott Fischman is an excellent read
for the serious online poker player.
In fact, considering "Online Ace" covers everything
from Sit 'n Go's to using the auto-features of the best
online poker software out there, this book is probably
the best one out there exclusively dedicated to poker of
the online persuasion. Just keep in mind that it may be
"elementary" for all you players out there already
familiar with the world of online poker. A great
beginner's book, "Online Ace" is 224 pages long and can
be digested in not time.
The name may not be as household as Phil Hellmuth,
but the fact of the matter is that Scott Fischman could
arguably be considered one of the top online poker
players in the world. Hellmuth, in fact, wrote the
foreword to this book, and has nothing but high praise
for Fischman's playing expertise and ability to
communicate and teach poker (Fischman is a revered
instructor at Phil's "Camp Hellmuth Poker Fantasy
Camp").
Besides, Fischman is a 2004 World Series of Poker
first place finisher and a 2005 WSOP runner-up.
Exponentially gaining years of experience by playing up
to eight online poker hands at one time, Scott Fischman
is "the perfect person to teach you all the ins and outs
of online poker" (to quote Chris Ferguson).
