Following up on our
news article announcing the most recent launch of more
Microgaming online casino games, it's nigh time I go
into a little more detail about this new batch of games and
what they mean for you and the world as a whole. Yes indeed,
these games hold the potential to change the world. If you
don't believe me, well then, you are just going to have to
read on (not saying that it's going to work, but ohhhh how I
love to entrap my readers).
The first game I
want to talk about is actually a charged up version of a
player favorite - Mega Moolah. One of the most
popular and largest progressive jackpot slots to be
found at any online casino, Mega Moolah has paid out
millions of dollars to players the world over (I can't
believe I just said "the world over"...man I 'm getting
old and know it. I suppose that's better than getting
older and not knowing it).
Anyhow, this one's
called Mega Moolah 5 Reel Drive and features a
sweet 5x multiplier and 4-tier jackpot on top of
everything else Mega Moolah offers, including a
10 free spins feature. With five reels and fifteen
paylines, its not that big of a slot. However, the
jackpot sizes will tell your otherwise. On a maximum bet
of £15, players can nab jackpots worth at least £1
million. £10K, £100 and £10 consolation jackpots are
awarded as well.
Moving on, let us
take a look at another life-changing game. It's a new
Joker Poker video poker machine dubbed Joker Poker Level
Up Poker. Part of Microgaming's "Level Up" series (now
making four Level Up games), this Joker Poker offers the
chance to win 8x the original bet and 5,000 coins. There
are four levels of action total, with each level handing
out increasing awards. The added feature of a "Free Ride
Card" gives players an even better chance at making it
to the next level up. There is also a double-your-money
gamble feature up to £3,200 for the more adventurous
player. For the record, I'm not telling you to play this
feature. Any good
video poker strategy will tell you to stay away from
any 50/50 gamble features.
Last but not least
(find...it's least in my book), is a new video slot
called Polar Explorer. As far as I can tell, this
isn't themed off of the animated flick, Polar
Express, with Tom Hanks. Last time I checked, it was
a little tacky, not to mention irresponsible and
probably illegal, turning children's movies into casino
slot machines. No, this Polar Explorer is based
on the adventures of an Arctic explorer and his faithful
Husky.
This slot offers 25
paylines of action and comes with the standard fare of a
top tier Microgaming bonus slot; ie, scatters, wilds,
free spins and multipliers. It also has a
spin-within-free-spins feature and a second re-spin
feature (just to confuse you, I'm sure). Actually, this
is pretty cool. If you hit three Huskies on the reels,
you'll get 10 free spins with 2x winnings, all the while
staying eligible for more free spins. If you get two
Huskies on the reels - in a similar manner to playing
fruit machines - you will have the option of spinning
the remaining three reels with a 1x multiplier on any
winnings derived from the second spin. A top prize of
£30,000 can be won in the base game (£60,000 with free
spins).
And just when you
and I both thought I was done, I just noticed yet
another video slot included in this batch of games. It's
called Liquid Gold and is 5-reel, 20-payline
video bonus slot that actually pours liquid gold out
change dish and through your computer monitor. I told
you these games were life changing (not that liquid gold
would do you any good besides burn the hell out of you).
Seriously though, this slot has scatters, wilds, free
spins (up to 10) and a 2x multiplier. Top payout in the
base game is £25,000, which can reach beyond £67,400
with the 2x free spins feature.
Okay, that's truly
all I got to say for now. Until the next Microgaming
release or case of bear, you'll hear from me again!
