If you have never been to an online bingo room before, let
it be known there's a good chance you will have more to play
than just online bingo. Errr, let me amend that statement -
If you have never been to a top (top meaning "one of
the best"....not the uppermost side of something) online
bingo rooms, there is a very good chance you will
have more of a gaming selection than just bingo cards -
especially if you play at the World Bingo Network (our
favorite online bingo group, if you couldn't tell by
now...Read my other blog entries and you'll see what I
mean).
Anyhow, I personally appreciate the fact that WBN's Bingo Workz and brethren
sites offer what are called mini-side games. They are basically online casino
games (slots, video poker, blackjack and keno) that you can play on the side
while your bingo cards are being played out. Heck, you could even play them on
the side during the middle of a bingo game AND chat game. FYI, chat games are a fun
and leisurely way to kill the time by chatting with your neighb's and wagering
pocket change to win a few bucks.
As for the Mini-side games, you can win a lot more than a few bucks on these. In
fact, some of the largest prizes won at
Bingo Workz and
USA Bingo are hit
on mini-side games. Simply look under the "Games" menu while logged in the
software platform to gain access to these online casino style games.
The way it
works is that after you make your game selection, a teeny tiny playing screen
will pop up. The reason it's so small is so you can play the game while still
keeping an eye on your bingo cards and chat game session (Don't worry - you
won't need your reading glasses - it's not that small). And if you really
adventurous, you can even open multiple mini-side games at once.
The video slots (called micro slots) spin really fast, so you would be wise to
take your time. Err, unless your playing in one of the slots tournaments, which
are periodically hosted at WBN. The video poker machines include Jacks or
Better, Deuces Wild and All American Poker (what else, right?). Keno is Keno,
Blackjack is Blackjack (albeit this is the tiniest blackjack table you will ever
play on), and the chat games...well, let's just say you have to experience those
for yourself. I double dog dare you to take part in the "Sticky Sheets Threesome" or
"Sloppy Seconds" Desperate Lounge chat games at
Desperate Housewives Bingo Room. Tempting, isn't it?
