Lions, Tigers and Bears, Oh My! Back-to-back bingo blog
entries? What's the world coming to? Okay, okay, I admit it.
I'm starting to fall for online bingo. After my last entry
about 32Red Bingo, I went back to visit this UK gamblers
favorite and was pleased to find that 32Red's bingo room and
website is just as transparent as their online casino.
Besides listing all their regulatory credentials and
detailed contact information, 32Red bingo publishes some
great content on the game of bingo itself.
What impressed me most (and what I find I'm learning from the most) is the
chat terminology glossary. Yes indeed, part of the fun of online bingo is the
social aspect of engaging with other players. And if you don't know the lingo,
well, you might as well be sitting on the sidelines. Some of the chat
abbreviations I was already familiar with, such as LOL (Laugh out Loud) and BS
(which there is a lot of these days!). But as for the bingo terminology, let's
just say there were more terms than George Bush has Bushism's.
I left out the more obvious terms like Adios and Hello, which although are
often used in bingo chat, are pretty self explanatory. You will probably find
the acronym chat abbreviations most useful, as well as the specific terms that
will make you look like a true bingo player! And remember, bingo chat is in all
caps. Get used to it!
Without further ado (well, depending on if my mind wanders as it is often
prone to do), I bring to you the online bingo chat glossary made possible by the
guys and gals over at 32Red Bingo. On a side note,
32Red is not open to U.S.
players. So, if you happen to reside in the U.S. and want to get your bingo fix
on, check out the aptly named
USA Bingo. So, without further ado.....once
again.....I bring you.......The Online Bingo Glossary:
