April 4, 2008 -
Continuing our bodacious bingo blog, I'd like to go into
more detail about the chat games offered in the Bingo Workz
network's Blackout Bingo room. There are plenty of chat
games to keep the action going here, so I plan to break this
entry up into two or more parts. First off, Blackout game
cards cost fifty cents, except for Happy Hour from 1-2 pm
every day of the week, which offers twenty-five cent cards.
Chat games run from 9 am until 2 am (next day) except during
Turbo Bob, which is from 9:34 to 9:58 pm. (US Eastern
Standard Time).
So without further delay, here are the chat game descriptions for Mondays from 9
am Monday until 2 am Tuesday. I'll go over the rest of the week in later blog
entries. See my former blog entry titled WBN Blackout Bingo Chat Game Schedule
for exact times of all bingo chat games.
Splitz - Splitz divvies out chat game winnings between the bingo winner
and the nabor above or below, depending on the last number called. For 1,2,3 the
winner and nabor above will each win $2. For 4,5,6 the winner and nabor below
win $3. For 7,8,9 the winner and nabor above win $3. For 0 the winner gets $4
and the nabor below wins $2.
Create a Word - Make a five letter word based on the letter of the first
number called. First place wins $2 and second place wins $1.
Beat the CL - Beat the Chat Leader by hitting bingo and getting a higher
hand total than the CL. The bingo winner's hand is determined by adding up the
value of the last two balls called. The first two balls of the next game will
serve as the chat leader's hand. If the CL is beat, the bingo winner and nabors
will win $2 each.
Odd/Even Twisted - Depending on the numeric value of the last ball
called, one nabor will win $2. If the last ball called is odd count down the
corresponding number of spaces for the winning nabor. If the ball is even, count
up in the same manner to determine the winning nabor.
Jewel Thief - This is a unique and fun team "chat" game that spans twenty
games. I say "chat" because you don't actually have to be in chat mode to
participate. Depending on how many players are in, the first place team can win
up to $400. In Jewel Thief, all players will be on one of three teams. The last
ball called for each game will correspond to a board of jewels. Depending on
where the last ball was called, varying amounts of jewels are earned - and in
some unlucky cases, earned for the other team!
Triple Down Nabors - As easy as the name implies, three nabors down from
the bingo winner will each win $1.
